Out of an abundance of caution relating to the COVID-19 virus outbreak, the difficult decision has been reached to cancel the i.am.angel Foundation’s annual TRANS4M Gala on March 17th.
The state of California as well as Los Angeles County have declared public health emergencies. In the interest of protecting the health of our sponsors, donors, students attending our programs, staff and volunteers, we are compelled to cancel our annual gala. In addition to the public health emergency situation, we have received calls from our donor community that many companies have restricted staff from traveling, attending public gatherings, and/or have closed down workplaces.
While the gala will not take place on March 17th due to this public health emergency, our students are grateful and continue to rely on your financial support so they can participate in foundation-funded programs. Donations go directly towards supporting the potential young innovators in underserved communities who can help us find solutions to the current global challenges we all face.
We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the cancellation and thank you for your understanding regarding this public health emergency that is out of our control.
