Celebrating i.am College Track’s 2024 Graduates
At the heart of the i.am College Track program is a steadfast 10-year commitment to each student, particularly those who are first-generation and low-income, providing practical tools for success beyond college graduation.
This year, the i.am Angel Foundation and i.am College Track proudly recognize the achievements of their 74 high school graduates. These scholars submitted over 600 applications to colleges and universities across the country, and we are proud to announce that 100% will matriculate this coming fall.
On May 30th, at the historic Plaza De La Raza in Los Angeles, families, scholars, and guests gathered to celebrate the remarkable achievements of the 2024 cohort at i.am College Track’s commencement-style event, “Launch to College.” During the event, students were honored with the 2024 College Track Values Awards, which reflect the core values guiding the scholars and staff daily: Commitment, Passion, Joy, Authenticity, and Excellence. The following students were recognized:
- Commitment: Cuauhtli Briseno
- Passion: Mayah Aguilera
- Authenticity: Wrin Munoz Lepro
- Joy: Anyza Lemus
- Excellence: Jose Orozco
- 2024 Scholar of the Year Award: Kevin Zaldana Mejia
Even after college graduation, the i.am College Track program remains dedicated to supporting and fostering connections among students. With degrees in diverse fields such as engineering, psychology, sociology, and business, our alumni are poised to excel in various industries.
