will.i.am Appointed Goodwill Ambassador for AI Skills Coalition, UN Agency for Digital Tech

At the AI for Good Conference in Geneva on July 10, 2025, will.i.am was announced as the newly appointed Goodwill Ambassador for the AI Skills Coalition led by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), the United Nations agency for digital technologies.

This appointment marks a key milestone in their mission to help everyone prepare for AI success, from policymakers and regulators to industry leaders, professionals across the workforce, and the next generation of AI innovators.

As a Goodwill Ambassador, he will work closely with ITU and partners to raise awareness and mobilize support for AI education and skills development.

His leadership will amplify the reach and visibility of the Coalition’s work, helping to engage youth, educators, policymakers, and the tech community about the urgent need for equitable AI capacity-building.
